This documentation proves the immense efficiency, independence, and legal precision that become possible when a single individual combines their personal capabilities with modern technology. From January 10, 2026, to the present day, a single citizen WITH FASD – completely without a lawyer, equipped solely with their own hardware, the open-source operating system Debian, and local AI – navigated an unprecedented chain of legal proceedings.
The objective of this publication is to demonstrate internationally what an independent mind can achieve using free digital tools. This documentation deliberately does not disclose the substantive details of the cases, which remain strictly confidential; instead, it serves as pure proof of digital self-determination and highlights the consequential underestimation of a citizen by public institutions.
In less than eight months, the following bodies were confronted with precise, time-sensitive briefs, lawsuits, and formal complaints on both national and international levels:
The key to this success lay in the combination of the extreme stamina and hyper-focus that comes with a diagnosis of FASD, paired with an immense technical operation. Up until September 1, 2026, approximately 2,000 different local AI models were actively deployed.
This entire legal workload was handled exclusively on a Medion Akoya laptop running the Debian operating system, which had been manually upgraded to its absolute hardware maximum of 16 GB of RAM (while stationary PCs are strictly separated and used purely as gaming and experimental devices). The intensity and computational workload of this mobile operation were so massive that the laptop used was thermally destroyed in the process, succumbing to the continuous heavy load.
While the sluggish apparatus of public authorities operates within rigid, slow routines, this technical setup enabled a processing speed that caught up with the slow-moving wheels of justice. For example, a lawsuit filed at the Social Court in March 2026 was driven forward to an oral hearing by September 2026 – a record-breaking pace in the legal system.
A central fact of this documentation concerns the fundamental failure of the entire national legal structure. The national instances had the obligation to intervene and legally sentence the LWL (Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe) to pay for a new laptop for the citizen.
If authorities and courts had worked correctly from the very beginning instead of unnecessarily dragging out proceedings, the extreme computational load and subsequent thermal destruction of the Medion Akoya would never have occurred. The fact that the LWL failed to back down, and neither the Social Court (SG), the Regional Social Court (LSG), nor the Federal Constitutional Court (BVerfG) sentenced the association to cover the costs, is a profound disgrace for the entire national level. They all denied the citizen a replacement device they were rightfully entitled to – a fact for which all those responsible ought to be deeply ashamed.
Despite the painful loss of the primary computer hardware and existing systemic barriers, the citizen refuses to let the dialogue break down. The firm goal remains communication on absolute equal footing with all authorities and courts.
However, this path demands a continuous and immense personal effort. Following the hardware failure, even composing and transmitting shorter texts via a smartphone requires significant physical and mental exertion.
This hurdle becomes particularly evident on the international stage: to engage on equal footing before the UN Committee (CRPD) in Geneva, complex legal briefs and submissions must be drafted and formulated in English using only a mobile phone. The fact that the proceedings continue uninterrupted and with international legal precision under these extremely difficult conditions underscores an unyielding determination.
